Proposal Manager for Federal & State Programs

Location: Tampa, Florida

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline; required
  • 2 – 4 years experience  
  • Knowledge of the federal and state government’s procurement process; required
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work cooperatively with diverse teams and personalities; comfortable working with remote team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro
  • Proficient in the production, scheduling, and follow-up of proposals and PowerPoint presentations including coordination with Project Managers and technical staff
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills
  • Possess a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to set schedules for proposal and presentation efforts and keep team on schedule
  • Some travel may be required

 Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for preparing proposals for federal and state agency clients including maintaining the resources and data required for responses to RFP
  • Write responses to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and other federal, state or international government requests
  • Design, coordination, and preparation of all marketing materials and graphics including proposals, resumes, project descriptions, and forms
  • Monitoring and identifying potential projects using assigned client, industry and government websites
  • Assist in maintaining opportunity tracking database
  • Writing, revising, editing, and standardizing text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension, and style
  • Creating presentation materials and PowerPoint presentations
  • Create compliant, compelling responses for assigned proposal sections/topics and creating associated graphics, charts, tables, appendices and other information in support of proposal development
  • Serve as co-capture on individual proposal development efforts to lead the writing team
  • Work with capture and business development teams to ensure compliant, accurate and timely submission
  • Review and edit proposal responses for consistency, compliance, win theme incorporation, solution accuracy and other elements during regular and core team review cycles in order to create the final proposal submission
  • Research relevant corporate, project, client and industry statistics and data in support of creating proposal responses for all Bridges Group lines of business, and services
